Request the deletion of your data
You can ask at any time for the personal data Smiley Hoster holds about you to be deleted. Write to data.protection@smileyhoster.com from the email address linked to your account, with “Delete my data” as the subject. You can also use the contact form on the site.
To protect your account, we may ask you to confirm your identity before processing the request.
What is deleted
After verification, we delete or anonymise your account data (identity, contact details, preferences) and the data you sent us through our forms, within 30 days.
If you linked a Facebook or Instagram account to a Smiley Hoster service, the access token and related identifiers are removed from our systems and access is revoked.
What we must keep
Some data must be kept by legal obligation, notably invoices (ten years) and connection logs (twelve months). It is archived with restricted access, then deleted when the period ends. Backups are purged within thirty days.
Facebook and Instagram users
Smiley Hoster publishes on its own Facebook and Instagram pages and does not collect visitors' personal data from them, other than what Meta makes available to the page administrator.
To delete data our app may have received from your Meta account, remove the app in your account settings (Settings, then Apps and websites), then write to data.protection@smileyhoster.com to confirm the deletion.
Your other rights
You also have the right of access, rectification and objection, exercised at the same address. You may lodge a complaint with the Moroccan data protection authority (CNDP) if you believe your rights are not respected.
