Data collected
To create an account and invoice: name, address, email address, phone, and for businesses the company name and tax identifier. Banking details are processed by our payment provider and do not pass through our servers.
To operate the services: panel login logs, IP addresses, server and mail logs, resource statistics. For domain names: the data required by the registry.
Purposes and legal bases
Performance of the contract covers service delivery, invoicing and support. Legitimate interest covers security, fraud prevention and unsolicited email. Consent covers the newsletter, revocable in one click.
Retention periods
Account data is kept for the duration of the contract then three years. Invoices are kept for ten years under accounting obligations. Connection logs are kept for twelve months, backups for thirty days.
Recipients and processors
We do not sell any data. Recipients are: our payment provider, domain name registries for the data they require, and our transactional email sending service. The up-to-date list is provided on request.
Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, objection and erasure, as well as the right to obtain a copy of your data in a machine-readable format. Write to data.protection@smileyhoster.com: we reply within thirty days.
You can also refer the matter to the National Commission for the Control of Personal Data Protection (CNDP).
